I, too, have a feeling about MIAMI High that cannot be equalled as I continue thru life. In my office I have a huge portrait (4′x8′) of the Blocking being done against Wilmington NC High School which I feel is one of the finest portraits of the old single wing offense that ever existed. I cherish it along with many other relics that relate to MHS. Thank god I went to MHS !!!

I’m a White Sox fan, but in my opinion Mike Stanton is the most underrated outfielder in the entire league. Great power hitter and is probably the most underrated fielder in all of baseball. If he played for the Yankees he would get three times the press he receives now. If he doesn’t end up in a sox uniform someday (i say that out of respect for his ability, not to take a backhanded poke at the Marlins), I hope for your guys sake you hang onto him.

Good point – when you factor in that the owner may have overruled the GM, it’s hard to make any sort of judgment on how they are doing – maybe Larry will drop me a note that if it wasn’t for Loria, he’d actually be 23-8-2.

I read it was the control freak loria who demanded maybin be traded and the front office before loria’s demand had no intention of trading him.

Loria is the same one who blocked the trade of cabrera for ervin santana and kendrick to the angels. He is a control freak.

Even after all these years, these men are amazing performers and musicians.

Saw Ringo Starr in 2010 and just got back from Paul McCartney concert last week.
